Personal Data Privacy Notice

As Mars Digital Agency (Mars Dijital Ajans), we prepared this notice to fulfil our obligation to inform under Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("PDPL / KVKK") in our capacity as data controller.

2. Personal Data Processed

The following data may be processed via contact and quote forms and digital channels:

  • Request and message content (message, service preferences, project description)
  • Transaction security data (IP address, browser / device information, logs ? where technically necessary)

  • Receiving, assessing and responding to contact and quote requests
  • Defining service scope and preparing proposals
  • Managing customer relations and related processes
  • Complying with legal obligations
  • Ensuring information security and preventing misuse

4. Legal Grounds

Your data is processed under Article 5 of the PDPL on the following grounds:

  • Necessity for the conclusion or performance of a contract
  • Fulfilment of the data controller's legal obligations
  • Necessity for the legitimate interests of the data controller
  • Cases where your explicit consent is obtained

5. Transfer of Personal Data

Where necessary to provide the service, your personal data may be transferred to competent public authorities within legal obligations, to hosting / email / software providers and business partners, in accordance with Articles 8 and 9 of the PDPL.

6. Retention Period

Your data is retained for as long as required by the processing purposes and for the retention / limitation periods set out in applicable legislation. When the purpose no longer applies or the legal period expires, data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.

7. Your Rights

Under Article 11 of the PDPL, you may:

  • Learn whether your personal data is processed
  • Request information if it has been processed
  • Learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly
  • Know the third parties to whom data is transferred domestically or abroad
  • Request correction if data is incomplete or inaccurate
  • Request deletion or destruction under Article 7 of the PDPL
  • Request that correction / deletion be notified to third parties
  • Object to results arising against you from exclusively automated analysis
  • Request compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing
